Isle Motor School is a driving school designated by the Public Safety Commission, which is open in Fukuoka and Yamaguchi prefectures. In addition to training to obtain a driver’s license, it also plays a role in protecting and enlightening local road safety, such as providing road safety classes for infants, elementary schools and high schools.

Each school building adopts Art Deco, an architectural style that was popular in Europe and the United States in the 19th century, as a design concept, based on the Isle Motor School’s desire that “I want everyone to come into contact with quality products and designs.” Moji School, located in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, also features a classic appearance that is fitting for the Moji name, which has a retro Taisho Roman-style cityscape. When you enter the school building through the black-and-gold-bordered entrance, you will see Art Deco-style lights and signs in some places.

The classroom renovation completed in January 2019 began with the president’s strong desire to make the classroom easier for students to participate in lessons.

So far, the movable desks and chairs were lined up on a flat floor, but there were objects such as the monitor and whiteboard that were hidden by the head of the person sitting in front and were difficult to see. Another problem was the cluttered impression of the entire classroom, such as chairs left outside after students left their seats and misaligned desks. However, in a driving school where many students gather throughout the year, it is impossible to close the school for an extended period of time due to classroom renovation work.

The solution to these multiple problems was the introduction of the SD-190 series of fixed desk chairs.
