The Cinemacity Fountain Views is located in DownTown Dubai, UAE. This new licensed cinema concept features six exclusive screening rooms with premium reclining seats for an immersive movie experience.
Cinemacity’s VIP service includes Japanese-inspired food, cocktails and mixed drinks, and a butler available at the touch of a button. To complement the luxurious amenities on offer, Ferco has created special custom seating to enhance the audience experience without compromising on comfort or style.
Two premium Ferco cinema seats were chosen for the Fountain Views project: the Verona Zero Wall and the Opus Glide.
The Verona Zero Wall is a deluxe recliner with a retractable center armrest and an extended swivel table for comfortable dining. Configured in a twin seating style for the Cinemacity Fountain Views auditorium, the seats are enclosed within Ferco’s Privata Panel to provide total privacy and personal space. The Premium Verona Zero Wall comes with a padded footrest that is operated by pressing a control panel located on each side of the seat.
During installation, the seats are fitted with a footrest sensor and finger guards for safe use. For ease of maintenance, the seat cover and footrest are removable for cleaning or replacement. Embroidered seat numbers were also specified according to customer preferences.
To offer a variety of VIP seating options, a similar Verona Zero Wall structure was adapted for Cinemacity’s other VIP screening rooms, including a cup holder in the center console and two USB charging ports in place of the retractable armrest, allowing for space sharing. A total of 49 seats were installed in these other screening rooms.
Ferco’s Opus Glide cinema seat operates without the need for motors and reclines to the desired resting position as viewers lie back in the seat. A total of 102 Opus Glide seats were installed for the Cinemacity project. Additional custom features include customized smart turntables with integrated cup holders. To facilitate cleaning and maintenance, removable covers for the headrest, backrest and seat were added to the seat. Configured in a dual seating style, the Opus Glide offers customers an economical seating option without compromising the comfort and VIP ambiance created at Cinemacity Fountain Views.
